ADD & ADHD

If your child has been diagnosed with ADHD or ADD and you’re looking for a natural approach — one that works with their body instead of masking symptoms, you’re in the right place. At Kids Only Chiropractic, we focus on supporting a calm, regulated nervous system so your child can focus, learn, and thrive.

Restoring normal spinal motion helps the nervous system find its calm baseline — without medication.

How Does Chiropractic support ADHD/ADD?

The brain and body are in constant communication through the nervous system — and the spine is the main highway that carries those signals. When the spine is moving freely and properly aligned, that communication flows without interference. When it isn’t, the nervous system can get stuck in a state of overdrive.

By removing interference along the spine, we support the nervous system’s ability to shift out of that fight-or-flight overdrive and into a calmer, more regulated state. That foundation is what allows a child to focus, process information, and self-regulate.

We are not treating ADHD. We are supporting the nervous system so it can do its job more effectively

Commonly asked questions:

Q:  Is chiropractic safe for kids with ADHD?

A: Yes. Adjustments for children are gentle, low-force, and nothing like adult chiropractic care. Kids Only Chiropractic works exclusively with children — this is all we do.

Q: How does the spine affect attention and behavior?

A: The spine houses the nervous system’s main communication pathway. When spinal joints aren’t moving freely, it creates interference in that system. A nervous system under constant stress has a harder time regulating mood, attention, and sensory input.

Q: How soon might we notice a difference?

A: Every child is different. Some parents notice changes in sleep, mood, or behavior within the first few weeks. Others see gradual improvement over a longer care plan. We’ll be honest with you about what to expect after we assess your child.

Q: Are movement therapies helpful?

A: Yes! Very helpful, limiting screen time and encouraging movement is key, in our office one of the movement therapies we use is The Learning Breakthrough Program Which can be purchased by parents and done at home.

Q: Are listening programs helpful?

A: Yes! Very, Integrated Listening System, or Advanced Brain Technologies Listening Program are both highly encouraged.

Q: Do you take insurance?

A: No- insurance companies make it too hard to bill and get claims paid, so we work directly with our practice members to keep care almost at cost. Call our office to find out more about pricing.
