Frequently Asked Questions
These are the questions parents actually ask us — gathered from the comments on our videos and from conversations in the office. Answers are Dr. Roller’s own.
Do you see adults, or only children?
Only children and expectant mothers. The practice is limited to kids from birth through age 21, plus pregnant and postpartum moms. This is the single most common question we get, and the answer is that we deliberately kept the practice narrow — children are all we do.
Do chiropractors go to medical school?
Yes. We go to the same four-year pre-med program as an MD or DO, then a four-year school where we graduate with a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine.
Is chiropractic safe for a newborn or a very small baby?
It is natural to want reassurance before bringing an infant in, and it is a fair question. Dr. Roller is certified in pediatric and perinatal chiropractic care through the ICPA and uses techniques designed for infants — not scaled-down adult adjustments. He will explain exactly what he finds and what he intends to do, and answer your questions, before any care begins.
Why don’t your videos show the actual adjustment?
Because we don’t want anyone trying to replicate it at home. Doing so can be harmful to a baby, so we don’t show the adjustments themselves.
How many visits will we need?
Chiropractic is rarely a one-and-done situation — frequency and repetition are what make the difference. How often depends on what is found at the examination. Membership includes unlimited visits, so the schedule is driven by your child rather than by what each visit costs.
Can I bring my other children to the appointment?
Please do. Our office is made for kids. We will never tell parents not to bring their children — in fact we encourage it. There is a play area for them to enjoy while they wait.
What do you check for at a newborn’s first exam?
The exam is age-appropriate and starts with birth history. Birth-related injuries are among the first things we look for — a collarbone injury from delivery, for example, is something we check for before adjusting at all.
How do I find a qualified pediatric chiropractor if I’m not near Bluffdale?
Use the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association directory at icpa4kids.com/find-a-pediatric-chiropractor. Look for CACCP or DACCP after a provider’s name. Caring for babies takes additional training beyond traditional chiropractic school, and that credential is how you verify it.
Do you take insurance?
We run on a membership model rather than billing insurance directly. That keeps visits unlimited and the cost predictable — no authorizations, no surprise bills. HSA and FSA cards are accepted; chiropractic care typically qualifies as an eligible medical expense. We do not bill insurance directly and do not provide superbills for reimbursement.
What does it cost?
One child, or one pregnant mom: $200 to join, then $100 a month. All the kids in your immediate family: $300 to join, then $150 a month — rising to $200 a month for new memberships from 1 September 2026, with families who join before then keeping the $150 rate as founders pricing.
Where are you, and how far do people travel?
The office is at 14462 S Redwood Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065. Bluffdale is a suburb of Salt Lake City, at the south end of the Salt Lake Valley. Families travel to us from across the valley and the wider Wasatch Front — South Jordan, Herriman, Riverton, Draper, Lehi and further afield.
What do you help with?
Most families come in for colic and reflux, torticollis, recurring ear infections, breastfeeding difficulty, digestion and constipation, bedwetting, ADD and ADHD, asthma, scoliosis, or pregnancy care including the Webster Technique.
