How Chiropractic Helps

Birth is Hard on mom and baby. Even a smooth delivery places significant force on a newborns head, neck and upper spine.

When there is tension or restriction in those areas it can affect how your baby turns their  head, opens their jaw, and coordinates the suck rhythm breastfeeding requires.

We’re not treating a latch problem. We’re looking at what happens in your baby’s nervous system and spine that may be making nursing harder than it needs to be.

FAQ's

Q: Should I still work with a lactation consultant?

A: Absolutely! Chiropractic and lactation support go hand in hand. We strongly encourage working with an IBCLC alongside your chiropractic care. We address what’s happening in the body; they address positioning, attachment, and feeding technique.

Q: Is chiropractic safe for newborns?

A: Yes. Pediatric chiropractic adjustments are gentle and specifically adapted for tiny bodies. The pressure used on a newborn is no more than you’d use to check a ripe tomato. Dr. Roller has advanced training in pediatric care and works with babies from just days old.

Q: How many visits will it take?

A: Every baby is different. Many families see noticeable improvement within 2–4 visits. We’ll give you a clear picture of what we’re finding and what we recommend at your first appointment.

Q: Do you take insurance?

A: No- Insurance companies make it too hard to bill and get claims paid. So we work directly with our practice members to keep pricing almost at cost. We have two wallet friendly membership packages so can can get the care your baby needs at one monthly price.
